My name is John Daniels, and I’m a recovering drug addict and alcoholic. Three years ago, I moved to my Uncle’s farm in Bent County, Colorado. I thought I would start a blog about my experiences. Living on a farm and learning how to care for crops and help my Uncle manage his business has been one of the things that has allowed me to stay clean and sober.

My goal with this blog is to share my strength, hope, and experiences so that I may inspire other alcoholics and addicts to get clean and sober as well. If you find your passion, it can greatly help you to be sober.

For you, it might not be farming. It might be sewing. It might be basketball. It might be writing or learning to play guitar. Whatever it is, it’s important that you find something healthy to fill your time other than drugs or alcohol.

For me, I like farming. I like working the land, and I like being helpful to my Uncle. I like to sit on the porch and drink lemonade while I’m looking at the field.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and reading about my life. I appreciate it.
